Code of Ethics, Certifications and Social Responsibility
Sadesign has always promoted attention to work issues, giving great importance to the values of fairness and sustainability, even before they became market trends.
Today Sadesign is committed to maintaining these standards on multiple fronts:
We have created an Integrated Management System and are in the process of obtaining certification according to the UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 and UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standards, marking a significant step in our commitment to quality and respect for the environment. This journey has led us to develop an Environmental Statement, an integral part of our commitment to obtain EMAS recognition.
Read our quality policies and environmental policy to find out our objectives and how we plan to achieve them. We have integrated these environmental and quality policies into all our company activities. This is reflected in our products and services, which are the result of a process that values both quality and sustainability, to guarantee our customers innovative and responsible solutions, delivered on time and according to the highest standards.
Sadesign carries out its business by sourcing globally and for this reason has decided to implement a mandatory code of conduct for its suppliers. This code regulates the suppliers' operations in terms of social and environmental responsibility and consists of some fundamental points such as:
- Standards against discrimination in the workplace;
- Regulation of child labour;
- Working conditions and hours and freedom of association with trade unions;
- Careful use of chemical substances;
- Regulations on pollution and correct waste disposal;
- Rational use of natural and energy resources.
We are aware of the cultural and legal differences at a global level and the economic difficulties that some countries in the world are experiencing, but the code of conduct is a contract in which we strongly believe and which our suppliers must respect in all its parts.
Since 2019 we have been voluntarily compiling our Sustainability Report according to the principles of the Economy of the Common Good, measuring our social and environmental impact. We actively strive for improvement, producing customised ecological gadgets and concretely contributing to a sustainable future for the environment, customers and employees.
Sadesign rigorously checks all production, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. We have adopted a Code of Conduct, inspired by the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact and the Common Good Economy, which all suppliers must comply with to ensure sustainable and lasting business relationships.
Legality Rating
The Legality Rating, issued by the AGCM (Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato - the Italian Antitrust Authority), is a synthetic indicator of compliance with high standards of legality.
It rewards companies that have ethical principles in their business conduct, the presence of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) systems and the adoption of legal and transparent behaviour by business organisations.
FiemmePER brings together companies, communities and minds that focus on sustainability, innovation and beauty, to give them strength and shared values, through a programme implemented by the Foundation in the Val di Fiemme that becomes a natural laboratory of social, economic and cultural innovation through an integrated vision of the territory's stakeholders.
