THE OCEANOGRAPHIC MUSEUM OF MONACO

The Oceanographic Museum of Monaco was inaugurated in 1910 by Prince Albert I of Monaco, who was also called “the Navigator Prince” because of his passion and knowledge of the world of the oceans.
The aim of the museum is to raise public awareness on the life and the nature of oceans through many permanent and special exhibitions, laboratories, ocean collections and lots of aquariums containing the flora and fauna of the Mediterranean sea.
